Established by Balwyn Rotary in 1976, the Camberwell Sunday Market has become a Melbourne weekend institution. Our market is known for specialty items that are retro, vintage or nostalgic. We love being part of 'old Melbourne' and helping you find things you will find nowhere else. And environmentally friendly - wow - we have been lowering the carbon footprint of Melbourne for years by recycling and reselling second hand items in nearly 400 weekly stall. Discover a Treasure. April 2022 stalls now available

Hundred of stall sites are now available for sellers (new comers welcome!) to book a stall for April 2022.

The cost of a casual stall is $68. Please note the following when booking a site:

VACCINATIONS

  • All stallholders and those assisting them on their stall/s need to be double COVID vaccinated
  • If you are not yet fully vaccinated you will need to complete your vaccinations before booking a stall
  • We consider the health and safety of all our stallholders, volunteers and visitors a priority

VACCINATION CERTIFICATES

  • Please forward a copy of your Vaccination Certificate, and the certificate of anyone sharing your stall, to manager@sundaymarket.com.au
  • Forward Vaccination Certificate after making your booking. Please include your Market date and stall number in your email

MASKS

  • Masks to be worn in accordance with the Victorian Government health directions

STALL QR CODES

HANDSANITISER

  • Hand sanitizer needs to be available on your stall for customer use
  • Stall holders must disinfect high touch surfaces twice during market operating hours.
  • Ensure items are clearly labelled with prices to avoid excess handling and limit interaction

Happy Lunar New Year 🧧 to all celebrating the new year of the tiger 🐅!

May the year bring peace and prosperity to all, in particular our customers, stallholders, volunteers and the broader Camberwell Junction community!

The market is open every Sunday in the new lunar year (from 1 February 2022, especially to friendly big cats). from 7am to 12:30pm.

Discover a cause: One Family at a Time

Did you know your support of Rotary at the Camberwell Sunday Market helps educate families in Cambodia?

One Family At A Time Cambodia is a Registered Australian charity and has been operating since early 2015 and works in partnership with Cambodian families and communities to achieve sustainable freedom from poverty, guided by community priorities and driven by evidence.

Here’s what they had to say recently about the support from the Rotary Club of Balwyn:

“It was smiles all round when students in our English class received their new study books. These students all attend Khmer High School in addition to lessons in our Aspire English classes.

Learning moved online last year (we loaned some of the students smart phones and we pay for monthly wifi for them all). These students also receive Rice Scholarships… We do everything we can to remove barriers to education, especially for girls. English classes are part of the Aspire Supporting Girls Through Education program.

The Rotary Club of Balwyn have been our partners and the major sponsor of this English program for 4 years and we are so proud and grateful!”

We’re open as usual

Camberwell Sunday Market is open each Sunday from 7am to 12:30pm, every weekend.

With hundreds of stalls, you will find secondhand and homemade items to suit every taste: from retro-fashion and antique household goods to handmade candles and soaps. And just by participating in this weekly community event, you will be supporting local and international projects, charities and Rotary Club initiatives.

In times of COVID, always follow health advice and remember when visiting the market:

  • Check in to the market and each using the QR code
  • Maintain physical distancing (1.5m) where possible
  • Bring a face mask and wear it, covering your mouth and nose, when physical distancing can’t be maintained
  • Use hand sanitiser available at each stall
  • Stay home if you are unwell

Happy New Year from all the crew at Camberwell Sunday Market.

We will be open 7am to 12:30on Sunday 2 January 2022 for our first market day of the new year.

It is going to be a hot one, so please keep hydrated and wear a hat and sun screen. Also remember the basics of COVID19 good hygiene and enjoy the market:

  • Use QR codes to check in
  • Use hand sanitiser, available at stalls
  • Maintain 1.5m physical distancing when possible
  • Cover your nose and mouth when you are unable to physically distance
