Good morning and happy Spring! What a great day to visit Camberwell Junction!

Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is the most common (and lethal) form of pancreatic cancer with a 5 year survival rate of only 7% and the vast majority (~70%) surviving 12 months or less.

In the absence of survivors, a group of work colleagues have joined a challenge to raise disease awareness and funds for research and will have a stall at Camberwell Market this Sunday 20 September 2026. They will be selling a variety of plants as well as some craftwork and love to see you there if you can make it.

In addition, this month the group is participating in the “Remember September” fundraiser for Pankind. Individually they will each be walking/ running 78 km (or more) to remember the 78 Australians who die each week from pancreatic cancer. Together, they will be walking over 1100km in September.
